Erika Braun, Owner, HR, Support Coordinator, MBA, QIDP
Erika graduated from the University of Utah with her degree in Social Work and Sociology. She also earned her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Erika also has her QIDP Certification. She has over 14 years experience working with individuals of varying disabilities including developmental disabilities, brain injuries and physical disabilities. Erika worked for The Work Activity Center as a Program Coordinator for five years and worked with the Division for Services for People with Disabilities for over three years before starting SCSU. Erika also has several years volunteer experience with several agencies serving people in Southern California. Erika's passion for working with people with disabilities comes from having a brother who was born with multiple disabilities and has since passed away.


In her spare time, Erika loves spending time with her family including her three children. She enjoys traveling and spending time in the outdoors. Taking time out of life to reflect on the things that matter most to Erika is a passion and she is often writing about these passions through poetry.

Amanda Anderson, Support Coordinator, QIDP
Amanda has worked with people with disabilities for over 15 years now. She worked for a provider for three years doing direct care, and then worked as a support coordinator for DSPD for 5 years.  Since leaving DSPD she has been with Support Coordination Services of Utah. She enjoys working with people with disabilities and loves it when her clients are so happy and excited to see her. Amanda has worked with a majority of her clients for the last 8 years plus. Working from home is a joy as she is allowed to be with her kids and watching them grow. Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, doing many things outdoors: camping, boating, 4 wheeling, Jeeping, and just being outside in general. Amanda is always on the go. Between her husband and her kids she is always having to go or do something and not waste any time sitting at home.

Travis Coleman, Owner, Executive Director, MBA, QIDP

Travis has over 25 years experience working with people with disabilities. Travis got his first job working the graveyard shift at a residential home while in college and it changed his course in life permanently, including the direction of his schooling. Travis later became the Program Manager and worked at Hartvigsen School while completing college. After graduation and receiving Bachelors Degrees in Sociology and History, Travis began working at the Division of Services for People with Disabilities as a Support Coordinator. During his 12 years at DSPD, Travis was promoted to Contract Analyst, Program Manager, Disabilities Ombudsman, and Quality Manager, as well as volunteering for the Special Olympics and People First Organizations. His wide array of experiences for DSPD are unique and important to providing support and knowledge to all employees of Support Coordination Services of Utah.

Travis returned to school later and has received a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Travis not only enjoys his work, but spending quality time with his wife and 3 children. Travis loves running, his bike and music when time permits.

Daniel Fischer, Support Coordinator, QIDP

Daniel Fischer has a Bachelors degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, and Qualified Mental Retardation Professional certification. Daniel has over fourteen years in the social work field, seven years with Columbus Community Center where he worked at a high behavioral home as an assistant manager, two and a half years with the Division of Services for People with Disabilities as a support coordinator and now over a decade with SCSU. Daniel has also worked as a behavioral aide for two years with Granite School District.

Michelle Smith, Support Coordinator, Rural Outreach, QIDP, ABI Certified

Michelle graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology, and is currently working on her Masters Degree. At this time she began working for RISE as a professional parent coordinator. When she began her degree she never imagined her path would lead her here, but she can't imagine it any other way. She has continued to work with individuals with disabilities for over 7 years, including becoming a support coordinator in 2015.
Vernal has been home to Michelle and her family for over 6 years. She loves the unique opportunities and challenges that the rural area brings.

She loves spending time with her family which includes 4 young children. They enjoy the outdoors, including camping and riding atv's. She enjoys the movies and sneaking away in the winter months when possible.

Courtney Stokes, Support Coordinator, QIDP

Courtney comes to SCSU with considerable experience in the social work field.  She graduated with a Bachelors’ Degree in Sociology and Family Studies from Weber State and later graduated with a Masters’ Degree in Mental Health Counseling.  Courtney has worked with children with disabilities and their families at the Christmas Box House and the Family Support Center in Ogden, Utah.  Courtney has spent five years working as a therapist for sex offenders and has also spent considerable time working with victims of sexual crimes. This duality provides a very well-rounded perspective on helping people with their needs.  She loves talking with people and thrives when she is able to see positive changes in their lives. Courtney works well with others and enjoys collaborating to help her clients live their best possible lives. Courtney has also developed and teaches psycho-educational skills courses on a quarterly basis.
Courtney has a wonderful husband and two amazing boys who help to keep her joyfully busy.  Courtney enjoys running an occasional triathlon and participates in a variety of sports including volleyball and fly fishing.

John Fluckiger, Support Coordinator, QIDP
John comes to SCSU with 5 years of experience working for one of the local providers and is currently completing course work towards his Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  John managed a program assisting a diverse group of gentlemen from the ages of 18 and up with various intellectual, physical and emotional disabilities providing direction and education. John helped many youth move towards employment providing accommodations for those individuals to be successful in the community while also managing staff and daily operations of the program. John has worked with complex issues and is very skilled at creating win/win situations.
